Fighting negative emotions When we were young, most of us were often scolded, reprimanded, or punished for showing negative emotions. Unless our parents are highly developed, we've probably learned that we need to control these feelings or face even more rejection. Parents. This will happen. As we grow, we develop personality traits and defense mechanisms that help us maintain civility under most circumstances. Our life becomes a game where we take steps to avoid these sensitive areas. The result is that these hidden wounds constantly come back to bite us when we are overwhelmed or agitated, fearful or angry. It shows itself in some ways. We avoid anything that makes us feel negative emotions. For example, we may be deeply concerned about what we face today. Instead of dealing with anxious feelings, we suppress them and "put on a nice face." We act as if they don't exist. Another way we prevent ourselves from feeling our feelings is through condemnation. We project these feelings onto other people and objects around us. It avoids what we think and essentially only delays experiencing what is happening inside us. Unfortunately, this tactic is used all the time and causes much pain to those around us. Pure Emotional Magic will keep giving them until we take action to fix them. This move means that we should take full responsibility for our feelings. So, what can we do once we end denial and condemnation? Emotional healing tools It would take an entire book to explain the theory behind how emotional healing happens. This can be said of hiding (not seeing emotions) and resisting (repressing and avoiding). You need to reverse these two actions you took. Simply put, you have everything you need to get started on your path to complete emotional freedom. There are many options and skills at your disposal. You must learn to apply them correctly if you want to work your way to integration and perfection.
